NORD Rare Disease Summit, Online Oct. 18-19, Open for Registration
Registration is now open for the 2021 Rare Diseases and Orphan Products Breakthrough Summit, which will be held virtually Oct. 18–19.
The event, also known as the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) Summit, brings the rare disease community together to network and discuss developments in treatments and research into rare disorders. Patients, advocates, government leaders, industry representatives, and academics are welcome to attend.
Event pricing information is available here; early bird registration rates end Aug. 27.
A limited number of complimentary passes are available for patients, advocates, caregivers, and medical students.
Attendees will have access to general sessions, breakout workshops, and an exhibit hall through a virtual platform. Live chat sessions are also planned, and participants can schedule peer-to-peer meetings with others throughout the summit. Participants will also be able to connect with event sponsors.
All plenary and breakout workshops will be recorded, with their content available for 30 days after the conference to those registered. Networking sessions, however, will not be recorded.
Virtual program access will be provided the week of the event in a “Know Before You Go” email, which will be sent to the email address used to register for the summit. Participants are advised that the summit’s virtual interactive platform works best with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browsers.
Access to the 2021 NORD Summit is single sign-on, meaning that one paid registration allows access for one device. Additional registrations are needed to log in from multiple devices. Registration can be transferred to another family member or to an organization up to 24 hours in advance of the summit. Please contact [email protected] to provide an alternative email address so that access can be changed.
